Haunted Homes: Help With a Haunted House in Hartlepool

If something is happening in your home or workplace that you can’t explain, you don’t have to deal with it alone. Hartlepool Paranormal Haunted Homes is HPI’s free, confidential service for households and business premises in Hartlepool and the North East.

Signs you might want an investigation

People usually contact us when they’ve noticed something that keeps happening and has started to worry them, such as:

• Unexplained noises, footsteps or knocking
• Objects that seem to move, or doors opening and closing
• Sudden cold spots, unusual smells or a feeling of being watched
• Children or pets reacting to something you can’t see

Whatever you’re experiencing, we’ll listen without judgement.

Our sceptical, respectful approach

We always look for everyday explanations first. Draughts, water pipes and heating systems, electrical faults and building noises can all cause things that feel unexplained. Carbon monoxide can also cause unease, headaches and even a sense of a presence, so we recommend every home has a working carbon monoxide alarm.

If we can find a natural cause, we’ll tell you. If we can’t, we’ll be honest about that too. We treat your home, your family and your experiences with respect at every stage.

How a home investigation works

1. Get in touch privately. Message our Haunted Homes Facebook page, email or phone us.
2. An initial chat. We’ll talk through what’s been happening and answer any questions.
3. A visit at a time that suits you. A small team will come to your home or premises.
4. Findings shared privately. We’ll go through what we found with you, and only you.

Home cases are handled by a small, dedicated rota of HPI team members, so every family gets the time and care they deserve. Nothing about your home is ever posted publicly without your written consent.

Is there a cost?

No. Our Haunted Homes service is completely free.
